Daniel Guardado (he/him) is in his final year of the Master’s of Social Work program at New Mexico State University. He received a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of New Mexico in 2017. He is passionate about advocating for the LGBTQ community and has led trainings on queer-affirming therapy approaches. His mental health experience includes crisis intervention and providing therapy to address depression, anxiety, substance use, trauma, as well as queer and trans identity development. Practicing from a strengths-based and culturally-humble perspective, Daniel enjoys working with a variety of clients and can adapt to their preferred treatment modality. He is currently providing individual therapy services to adolescent and adult clients of all demographics. Daniel will be licensed Summer 2023 and employed as a full time therapist.
