The Recovering Healers Scholarship raises money for Certified Peer Support Workers (CPSW) in NM, to further their education and achieve their dreams of attending the Master’s Social Work Program at New Mexico Highlands University, which otherwise may not be possible.

Certified Peer Support Workers are individuals who are successfully engaged in long-term recovery with mental health and/or substance use conditions and maintaining their mental wellness to help others in their recovery process. Because of their own recovery experiences, CPSWS are uniquely qualified to enhance services delivered by provider agencies and other organizations.
